Frequently Asked Questions
2:CARE
Q: How are you handling Covid-19?
A: Neither of us have shown any signs of illness, and we have been self-isolating to the best of our ability to avoid spreading or contracting the virus. Theresa has been assigned to work from home during the quarantine. We've also made the choice not to show in the Los Alamos Arts and Crafts Fair this year, as much as we'd like to go.
As far as your purchases, orders are expected to be delayed slightly, and our ability to take customs may have changed. Please contact us if you are interested and we will try to work with you, but these are uncertain times, and depending on complexity and time frame, we may not be able to take custom orders we would normally be happy to complete.
Our post office trips also are limited right now, so shipping delays should be expected, though we will work to keep you up-to-date on your orders.
Q: Do you take custom orders or commissions? Can you sculpt my character or pet?
A: Yes! We love bringing other peoples visions to life.
We currently accept commissions for ceramic sculptures and resin/polymer clay sculptures.
Send us an email through our "Contact" page to talk to us about it. We will discuss the details of your order, a turnaround time, and price before we begin work.
We have examples of past commissions in our gallery.
If we feel we can't provide the services you want, we have the right to decline any custom order.
Q: I need my order by a certain date; can you rush my order?
A: We usually ship our work out within 1-2 weeks, depending on the nature of the order. Please let us know if you are on a deadline for any item; we will work with you to get the item to you on time.
It's best to place any custom orders at least a month in advance.
Q: Do you do gift wrapping?
A: We do! We charge a $4 service fee for it. Please let us know if you need something gift wrapped.
Q: Are your ceramics microwave and dishwasher safe?
A: Unless otherwise specified, yes! Please read the item's specific listing to be sure.
Q: How do I take care of this item?
A: Due to the mixed-media nature of the work we sell, care instructions may vary, Please see the individual listing of the item you want for specific care directions.
As a general rule, our work should not be dropped, thrown, or otherwise mishandled. Sculptures with delicate or thin parts should be treated with special care.
Refunds are not available if the sculpture has been mishandled by the buyer.
Q: What happens if my item is damaged during shipping?
A: All of our items are insured, and you will receive compensation if the item is damaged upon arrival. Reach out to us and we'll get it taken care of.
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: We accept returns if we are contacted within 5 days of delivery. If the item arrives damaged, we will pay for its return, and refund its cost.
If you wish to return an intact item for a refund, you are responsible for the shipping costs and shipping it out within 14 days of it's delivery. Be sure to package your return items safely. If the item arrives back to us damaged, we cannot issue a refund.
